Botanical consulting engagements in Antwerp
These Terms govern consulting services provided by Herbarium Zuid ("we") to clients ("you") for home plant assessments, courtyard species plans, office plant advising and related advisory work in Antwerp and surrounding areas.
Standard services are booked at the published starting prices: Home Plant Assessment from €95, Courtyard Species Plan from €280, Office Plant Advising from €640, follow-up consultation at €85/h, annual care calendar package at €420, and full courtyard redesign advisory at €1,100. Custom quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
We deliver written advisory reports covering species selection, soil advice, light assessments and care calendars. We do not sell plants, install greenery, provide medical or wellness advice, or guarantee specific horticultural outcomes. Implementation remains your responsibility or that of your chosen vendor.
Invoices are issued after the site visit or upon delivery of the written report, unless a deposit is agreed for multi-visit office projects. Payment is due within 14 days by bank transfer unless otherwise stated.
Site visits may be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice without charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee of €45 to cover preparation time. Deposits on office projects are non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled first visit.
You are responsible for providing safe access to rooms, courtyards or office areas at the agreed time. If access is unavailable on arrival, the visit may be rescheduled and a call-out fee of €45 may apply.
Written reports are for your personal or internal business use. Reproduction or distribution to third parties requires our written consent. We retain copyright in report templates and methodology.
We may photograph completed advisory work (species lists in situ, layout sketches) for portfolio use unless you opt out in writing before the visit. We do not publish your full address without consent.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant engagement except where Belgian consumer law provides otherwise. We are not liable for plant loss, property damage or indirect loss arising from implementation of our recommendations by you or third parties.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Antwerp or your local jurisdiction if you qualify as a consumer under EU law.
