Do you sell or install plants?
No. Herbarium Zuid provides advisory services only—species selection, soil advice, light assessments and care calendars. You purchase plants from local nurseries using our written recommendations.
What happens during a Home Plant Assessment?
We visit your home, measure light in each room at relevant times, note humidity and draft patterns, inspect existing containers and soil, then deliver a written report with species shortlists and a starter care calendar within five business days.
Can you help with a north-facing courtyard?
Yes. Courtyard Species Plans address shade, container drainage and species that perform in Antwerp's walled gardens. We account for limited direct sun and elevated humidity near brick surfaces.
Is this medical or air-quality advice?
No. Our consulting is strictly horticultural. We do not make health, wellness or indoor air-quality claims about plants.
How far do you travel?
Site visits within Antwerp city limits are included in our standard fees. Berchem, Hoboken, Wilrijk and surrounding municipalities may incur a travel supplement quoted in advance.
What does the annual care calendar include?
A month-by-month schedule for watering, feeding, repotting and seasonal adjustments tailored to your species list and household or office routine. Priced at €420 for up to twelve species.
Can I book a follow-up after the initial visit?
Yes. Follow-up consultations are billed at €85/h and cover seasonal reviews, troubleshooting yellowing leaves, repotting guidance or expanded species lists.
How do I get a custom quote for a large office?
Email [email protected] with floor plans, room counts and photos. Office Plant Advising starts at €640; multi-floor projects are quoted individually.
